After looking at the stellar tech reviews for OnePlus tablets, I was on the brink of buying one...I then spotted the Trustpilot reviews and nope. Absolutely horrendous CS apparently, which killed it for me. A score 1.4 out of 5 with almost 3000 reviews says it all.

I even emailed one of the better known reviewers on a big tech website to say how disappointed I was that he didn't bother actually checking the after sales service and would this be considered for future reviews? No reply!

Anyone own this? I still have my one plus one phone when you had to wait for an invite lol.
I steered away from one plus after they really hiked their prices. Now on a nothing phone one and one plus one is my back up.
My current tablet is Huawei t10 that's about five years or older lol.
Only use it for watching TV, and candy crush when working at my hospital.
    Any feedback be appreciated.

Oh I got my eye on honor pad 9 or this.

I purchased one for myself and realised it was so good I bought one for my son.
It does everything and more. It runs every game he throws at it and the battery is really good. It charges really quick too.
The keyboard works seemless with it as does the touch pen. I don't think I have a negative... Hope this helps.

My OnePlus phone fell to bits (literally, as the kids say about, well everything) just out of warranty. Customer service were a total disgrace, so they made my "never again" list.

What did customer service do that you weren't happy with considering it was out of warranty?

Ordered Pad with keyboard on Monday, delivered Wednesday. Ordered Stylo, delivered Thursday.
Once delivered you download a proper VAT invoice from the OnePlus website, VAT number is genuine.

Out of the box it takes around 3-4 Oxygen OS updates to get to the latest version running on Android 14.

    First impressions.
Good solid build quality , very light without case, fast and long battery life.
Work fine with USB-PD charger and says Fast charging on screen, reckon it maxs out at 30w with PD so no rush to get a Supervooc charger.

Keyboard is fine for the size/thickness, it's US layout without £ sign on a key, but's in the onscreen keyboard along with € and other currencies. Key travel is shorter than a Surface Pro type cover and there is no keyboard backlight.

The Stylo stylus is very good, better than my Surface Pro 4 pen on par with the 2nd gen Apple Pencil working fine for my use for note taking (Google Keep) and messing about in Sketchbook.

Screen is excellent with good black level, colour and brightness, not quite OLED or MiniLED but totally fine and I compared it to 15inch RGB OLED laptop and MiniLED iPad Pro.
HDR/Dolby Vision is fine within the limits of IPS black levels and 500nits max brightness. Plex plays Dolby Vision and HDR10 fine without transcoding, not tried any other HDR sources. SDR quality is good.

This one or Samsung Galaxy tab S9 Ultra ?
    highdon's avatar
Well do you need a 14" screen on your tablet??

The whole thing came unglued and was completely dead. I baby my devices. I argued this was unacceptable in a 13 month old "premium device". They said tough s***, go away.

Is the pencil wotsit pressure sensitive?
    hd1080ts's avatar
4000 levels of pressure quoted in this review.

How fast do these charge with a USB-PD charger (100w)?
    hd1080ts's avatar
Looks likely to be 20-30w via USB-PD.

Does this come with a standard charger or does one need to be purchased separately ? Also anyone know when this deal will expire ? Thanks.
    hd1080ts's avatar
No charger in box for UK/EU models, will charge on USB-PD but not as fast as Supervooc charger.
