I bought the PFS 7000, which was the top of the range model. I used it to spray gloss. It was awful, a total disaster. I had to wipe the paint off and start again with a brush. I’m not new to spraying and have several other HVLP spray systems from other manufacturers which give excellent finishes with all types of paint but I’m afraid the Bosch sprayer is an over priced glorified fence sprayer.

    Any good?
Better than the corded £30 variety?

I have no experience of it so I can’t comment on the quality if the paint finish. I posted because of the free battery offer. I think the advantage is that it’s cordless so could have an use where power is not available, eg, allotment. Reading some comparisons to the other Bosch sprayers, it seems limited to stains an varnishes and has a lower output rate.

These are probably only good for fence panel painting. You’d have to thin the pain fair bit. My advice, get airless sprayer. Bit more expensive but much more versatile and results are great.
